I placed an order for Christmas on December 17th. While on their website, I clicked on an icon to find out about "free shipping". Apparently, when doing this, this automatically signs you up for VIP membership. They charged my credit card an additional $69.99. There was no information regarding charges when I did this, I don't even remember clicking on the icon. When I called them they told me that I must have clicked on the icon. They told me they would credit my account, this has been over a week ago and now I can't get in touch with them at all. I will never use this company again!!

I had the same experience with this site. However, I called after receiving my credit card statement and they said since I did not cancel within 30 days, that they would not remove the charges. I replied that this would be acceptable had I ever received an electronic notification of this additional purchase - as I did with my intended purchase. The issue was never resolved. What's more is, I went back to the site to attempt to log in to the VIP membership - and realized I have no credentials to do so. I am now about to initiate the process of fighting the charges with my credit card company. It's completely unacceptable.

I had a similar experience. I ordered an item in Oct and thought in order to qualify for free shipping I had to fill out a form within 14 days which I never ended up doing. However, somehow clicking on the free shipping I was enrolled in a "VIP Membership" which I was suppose to cancel in 14 days. They have charged my credit card account now $8.95 for four months. I asked them to cancel this that I didn't realize I had signed up for the "VIP" but they won't cancel it. They basically said I signed up for it and there's nothing they can do. I have never been treated like this from any company ever. There is no information at all on their web site about this membership. When you call on the phone good luck getting through. I had to wait at least 15 minutes before I talked to someone on live chat. I sent an email and got the same response, you signed up for it when you order....too bad. Luckily my credit card company seems to be on my side for now. I can't believe an $18.95 item is going to cost me $8.95 for the next 12 months. Someone.....Help!!!
